What is FolderContextMenuEx ?
FolderContextMenuEx is an Windows Explorer Extension.
It extends the context menu displayed when you right click on a directory's background.
Ordinary this menu doesn't display the same items then when you right click on the directory name.
For me the most annoying missing menu item is "open a command line here".
FolderContextMenuEx tries to fix this.
FolderContextMenuEx doesn't support DDE Actions.
Install:
  • Copy FolderContextMenuExt.dll into a directory (for example : "c:\program files\FolderContextMenuEx\" ).
  • Launch the command :
    regsvr32 "c:\program files\FolderContextMenuEx\FolderContextMenuEx.dll"
  • Uninstall:
  • Launch the command :
    regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\FolderContextMenuEx\FolderContextMenuEx.dll"
  • Remove the "c:\program files\FolderContextMenuEx\" directory and its contents.
  •
This freeware is a beta version.
